Overview of the Scholarship Program:

• Eligibility Criteria: The scholarship will be awarded to Seniors who meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum GPA: A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or equivalent is required.

  • Community Service: Applicants must have actively participated in community service initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to making a positive impact.

  • Leadership Skills: Candidates should have displayed leadership qualities through their involvement in extracurricular activities, such as student organizations, sports teams, clubs, or volunteering efforts.

• Scholarship Amount: The scholarship amount per student will be $250 for youth in the community and $500 for youth that successfully completed the Beaming Brite Program. This will help cover a significant portion of the students' educational expenses, including tuition fees, textbooks, and other related costs.

• Number of Scholarships: Beaming Brite is pleased to offer scholarships to two Seniors in Dekalb and Gwinnett County and to Seniors associated with Beaming Brite Mentoring. However, the final number of scholarships may be subject to change based on the quantity and quality of eligible applications received.
